The name Manaoke comes from 学 (mana-, to learn) + オケ (-oke, from カラオケ). Put them together and you have learning from karaoke!

While you can prepare for your karaoke session with this tool, Manaoke is designed to be a fun place to learn without all the work. Here you learn through immersion in sound, culture, studies, movement, and fun.

This is the flow and layout for each song:

• The listening tab is first. You have to get the vibe first. Enjoy!
• The podcast tab surfaces a deep dive using a custom research script and Chirp HD 3 voices. These are the best voices for Japanese. Not always perfect but the best I have access to for now. Feel free to let me know if there is anything better. This is a great way to passively learn and build a connection to the song.
• The study tab lets you tap while you listen. Continually forming a connection with the words as you listen to it more. You know it's time to sing as you do this ;-)
• The runner tab is for getting out and about. You can swipe while you walk.
• Trivia is just another way for you to dive deeper into the song. Some interesting facts about your favorite artists, their inspirations, and so on.
